Artwork registration
To register an artwork, follow the steps below:
- Open the app on your app interface on the device
- Click the register artwork button in the middle of your 4ARTapp overview and then click pay and register
- With a click on the button unlock now you start the fee-based process of artwork registration
- If you have not yet entered a payment method to complete the artwork registration process, enter your personal information and take a front and back photo of your passport or upload it from your photo library
- Your Ethereum wallet has been created free of charge and the wallet data is automatically saved on your device (please save your data by clicking the save wallet button)
- You will then need to select a payment method, fill in the fields accordingly and then click next to complete the registration
- If you already have credits in your account, skip the steps 3,4,5 and 6 and follow step 2
- You will be asked to make a full size picture of your artwork and can crop it if necessary
- To cancel the registration or to make a new recording of your artwork, click on the blue arrow at the top left and confirm the cancellation with yes
- If you have recorded the front and/or back of your artwork, fill in the artwork details and select the appropriate options for material and base material from the material list and confirm with continue (change possible)
- Capture detailed images of the authentication areas at three different locations on your artwork that are prominent or easy for you to find
- To register the three different authentication areas, follow the instructions provided on your smartphone to complete the process
- Please check the deposited data, as they are stored irrevocably and confirm by clicking on register artwork
- If you do not have an internet connection and still want to register an artwork, follow the steps described above and register your artwork
- As soon as you are connected to the internet again, go to the artwork previously registered offline and confirm the purchase of the artwork registration, then your previously offline registered artwork will be saved online
- An "anti-reflection" shield must be used for highly reflective artworks
